New slate roof in Brixton
A new slate roof was installed by our expert roofers in Brixton last year. The job consisted of stripping the existing roof (and all lower roofs) and inspecting the rafters. Then the roof was felt and battened using breathable felt and new Eternit slates were laid on all roofs. Universal terracotta ridge tiles were installed as well as lead flashing with aluminium soakers and lead valleys. Our flat roofer, local to Brixton then installed a new felt flat roof, consisting of 18mm OSB boards, two layers of GECO underlay heat transfer felt and one layer of GECO SBS mineral felt hot bonded
